Since today is all about photos and photographers, we want to highlight an amazing photographer that we had the privilege to work with this weekend.
Tacey Abney is the brilliant talent behind Laughing Willow Photography, based in Western Washington.
We want to feature her this week because she was professional, easy to work with, and produces beautiful photos. Both the bride & groom, as well as us here at Essence of Events, LLC had a great experience working with her, and look forward to the next time.
What makes Tacey at Laughing Willow Photography so great? She catches the little details. She doesn't focus on stiff posed portraits, but rather on the beautiful moments and memories. You never have to worry that your event photos will be ordinary. She takes the time necessary to discover just exactly what you want and produces just that!
Here are a few shots of the reception details she already emailed us and it has been less then 24 hours since the wedding! We simply cannot wait to see every detail and moment she captured of Brittany & Andrew's day!
Please take the time to check out Tacey's other work. You can find her at...

Saturday- Photography Trends for Weddings
The recent trends for photography are posed candids. We wanted to share some of the unique pictures that are storming the wedding scene. It looks like more and more are wanting pictures that capture who they are as a couple, their friends personalities and why they love their families so much. Having memorable photos is important because they are one of the only things that are left from your special day. Your wedding day photos will be on display in your home, and your family and friends homes for years to come. Check out these awesome wedding photo ideas.
It's not just shots of the Bride's shoes anymore. Shots of the Groom's shoes are a new trend.

This is a great idea for a couple who want a photo of them before they see each other on the wedding day.

Couples are fired over the use of sparklers. They are using them to write words like "love", their wedding date or their initials.
Using architechure elements in the backgound is another trend that's popular.
